One of the first things I noticed while walking around Madrid was the abundance of beautiful, colorful, and ornate wooden doors.
It was only after I began to look out for them that I realized most of the elaborate entrance ways were covered in graffiti.
I still can't decide if the graffiti destroys or enhances the elaborate details and carvings on the doors, which seem almost more romantic in juxtaposition to the modern hoodlum's antics of graffiti street art.
